I think a lot about building a business that eventually scales beyond just the business. Beyond just profit and taking money off the table.

One of the things that has pulled Rocking through some really hard times, has been the fact that we have always operated on a recurring revenue model. 99% of what we do is recurring revenue, with the odd bit of once off work sprinkled in between.

The big advantage here is that you get to actually grow and scale a business better, with less headache constantly chasing new customers.

We spend precious little on marketing (if any), and pretty much all our new business is inbound. We're able to keep operating simply because we have recurring revenue.

I'm working to begin scaling the recurring revenue, and rather than just inbound sales, I want to begin pushing outbound marketing, getting customers. Mr Hormozi has been particularly helpful with formulating a clear strategy.

The idea for me, is that we can scale way beyond our resources. My current estimates are that we can do about 5x revenue without having to bring anyone else onboard. A combination of efficiency, AI and Automation.
